Home > International Calling & Traveling

With Silvercell International Calling, you can make calls to over 80 countries including Canada, India, UK, and Mexico. The minutes included in your plan are available to make calls to the United States or any of the countries listed below.

When placing these calls, be sure you’re within Silvercell’s U.S. coverage area or if you are traveling abroad, ensure that you have Wi-Fi calling and texting enabled and connected.

How to Place an International Call

To make a call to an approved Silvercell International Destination, follow these instructions.

Calling Canada and the Caribbean

For calls to Canada, Bermuda, and Mariana Islands, these calls do not require 011 or a country code. You would follow the steps below:

  1. Enter the 10-digit phone number

After making the call, you will hear one of the following messages:

  • If the number entered is to an approved international destination, the caller will hear: “Please hold while we connect your call.” Don’t worry, the number that is shown to the person you’re calling is your phone number.
  • If the number entered is valid, but not on the approved destination list, the caller will hear: “This service does not allow calls to the number you have entered.”
  • If the number entered is not valid, the caller will hear: “The number you entered is not valid”

If you get either one of the invalid messages, you will be taken back to the first voice prompt 3 times before the call is disconnected.

Calling All Other Countries

For all other international calls, you will need their country code. To call all other countries, you would follow the steps below:

  1. Dial 011
  2. Dial country code
  3. Dial phone number

Your service is now active!

If you activated using an eSIM-enabled phone and if it did not begin the activation process on its own, please check your email for final setup instructions to complete activation on your device. Note: YNP (Your New Provider) will be the provider name.

If you activated with a physical SIM card, make sure it’s properly inserted into your phone. Once you restart your device, you’re all set!

What’s an eSIM?

An eSIM is a digital version of a SIM card that lets your phone connect to our network—no need to wait for one in the mail or insert one manually.

It’s fast, secure, and easy to set up.  If your phone is eSIM compatible, activating is simple.
