Help finding your IMEI

Your IMEI is the 15-digit number that identifies your phone. Here are a few ways to find it.

Start with your dial pad

Open your phone’s dial pad and enter *#06#. Your IMEI numbers should appear on the screen.

Look in your phone’s settings

  • iPhone: Open Settings > General > About, then scroll to IMEI.
  • Android: Open Settings > About phone. Depending on your phone, you may need to select Status or Device information.

If your phone has an IMEI2, it may be labeled IMEI (eSIM) or eSIM IMEI.

Other places to check

The IMEI may be printed on the original phone box. On older phones with a removable battery, it may be printed beneath the battery. Only check there if your phone is designed for battery removal; do not open a sealed phone.
