How do I transfer/port my number to Silvercell?

Home>Transferring Your Current Number to Silvercell

We’re excited to welcome you to Silvercell! The great news is that you can keep your current phone number when making the switch. As long as your number is still active with your current provider and eligible for transfer, you can bring it with you to Silvercell. Please note: if the number has already been disconnected, it becomes property of your previous provider and may be reassigned at any time.

To transfer (or port) your number to Silvercell, you’ll need:

  • Your current provider’s account number
  • The Number Transfer PIN for that account
  • The phone number you want to bring

When your transfer request is submitted, Silvercell will handle the process for you. Once the transfer is complete, your service with your previous carrier should automatically be canceled. However, we still recommend following up with them to confirm cancellation.

*Important: Do not cancel your previous service before your number transfer is fully complete.

After You Place Your Order with Silvercell

Once you’ve successfully placed your order with Silvercell (whether for a SIM card or phone), here’s how to start the number transfer process:

  1. Go to silvercellwireless.com and click “My Account”
  2. Log in using the email address and password you used when placing your order
  3. On the “Summary” page, find the line associated with your order
  4. Click “Manage Line”
  5. Select “Bring Your Number”
  6. Enter the following details:
  • The phone number you wish to bring
  • Your current carrier account information
  • Your billing address
  1. Click Keep Number to start the transfer

Once your number has been successfully ported to Silvercell, you’ll receive an email notification confirming the transfer. Until that point, your service with your previous carrier will remain active.

Your service is now active!

If you activated using an eSIM-enabled phone and if it did not begin the activation process on its own, please check your email for final setup instructions to complete activation on your device. Note: YNP (Your New Provider) will be the provider name.

If you activated with a physical SIM card, make sure it’s properly inserted into your phone. Once you restart your device, you’re all set!

What’s an eSIM?

An eSIM is a digital version of a SIM card that lets your phone connect to our network—no need to wait for one in the mail or insert one manually.

It’s fast, secure, and easy to set up.  If your phone is eSIM compatible, activating is simple.
